Recognising the value of engaging portfolio company executives directly in the fund, Notion hoped to enable these key individuals to invest, but the administrative and compliance complexities associated with individual investor onboarding presented significant challenges, adding significant cost and risking long delays. Notion needed a time-and-cost-efficient solution to onboard investors while adhering to strict regulatory standards.
Mara’s support enabled Notion was to onboard ten individual investors from diverse European backgrounds including German, French, Dutch, and Swiss nationals. This not only facilitated significant cost savings for Notion, but also deepened the relationships between Notion and its community of investors.
